Welcome to Barrington Youth Lacrosse 2024!

Our Spring 2024 recreational spring season is a great opportunity for players to meet new friends and explore the sport of lacrosse. With an emphasis on fun and development, we welcome all experience and skill levels. The BYL Girls Recreation Program is introductory designed for the youngest players who are new to lacrosse. Basic fundamentals and stick skills are introduced with a strong emphasis on fun! As the season progresses, athletes continue to work on the fundamentals while learning more stick and passing skills as well as the rules of the game. All players will need their own stick, mouth guard and goggles.  Cleats are encouraged but not required.

 Team options are based on grade level. Please click on the appropriate program link below for more information and to register. Teams will be formed based on experience, age level, and skill.

As Minis (1st and 2nd grade) are our youngest players, the spring season is often their first step into the world of lacrosse and is intended to expose them to the basic concepts of the game. As such, we offer players at this age level a reduced registration fee compared to our older groups. With this, we have a stable fee ($300) throughout the registration period and do not apply early bird pricing.
